+ WHY YOU CAN’T MANIFEST +
It’s a bit of a cheeky title, because in truth - everyone can manifest. We’re doing it every second. Everything in your life was manifested by your thoughts and beliefs.
But if you feel like you’re never able to manifest what you actually want, it’s probably a simple case of not understanding the process properly and thinking you’re not making progress when in fact you’re right on track. Keep reading to find out how to make the process work for you and the most overlooked step.
2 of my most used pieces of advice are to trust the timing and trust the process.
When it comes to manifesting or reaching a goal, this is one of the most important and yet most commonly overlooked steps.
We set a time limit alongside our goal. We decide we will only have ‘manifested it’ if it happens within our time frame.
But the universe doesn’t run on linear time. It plays in quantum time.
Which means that if you’re manifesting from a true place of desire (tuning in to your internal guidance system/intuition) then what you’re calling in is already on the way to you. That’s why the desire has presented itself.
And when we understand this, we also understand that it’s already your’s. In truth, you’re magnetising it to yourself, rather than manifesting it out of thin air. And I actually prefer to think of the whole process that way, as magnetising rather than manifesting.
The process is simply for you to align with it and be able to receive it.
And THIS is the part where most people go wrong; they make the mistake of thinking it’s not working and missing the potent opportunity in what’s happening.
The process usually goes something like this example:
You receive the desire to create more income. You set your intention and wait to start seeing the 💵 come in.
But instead of $ going up in your bank account, suddenly you receive an unexpected bill, your car needs a pricey repair, your pet lands you with an expensive vet bill (omg I’ve just learnt about this last one for the first time last year and it is brutal haha) - you get the picture I’m painting.
You were calling money in, and yet seemingly the opposite is happening with money going out 💸- maybe even money you don’t have!
It’s really easy to become disheartened at this point and think that manifesting is just not for you, and to abandon ship before things get any worse.
This is why it’s so important to understand the mechanics of this process.
These speed humps and roadblocks on your path to your desires aren’t to de-rail or discourage you. In fact, they’re here to help and guide you!
When you find yourself in these situations, you have the opportunity to do several things, all of which will align you with that desire you’re calling in.
- Look at what feelings, beliefs, stories have come up as a result of this situation. It will be triggering all the things that you need to now witness and release in order to receive your desire.
- Finalise any chapters, relationships, accounts etc that are keeping you locked to the past.
- Look at whether you can put something in place to ensure you’re not caught off guard again. These unexpected situations can often show up where we are leaking energy to things that no longer serve us and prompt us to clean up our energetic boundaries and expectations.
- Double down in faith and trust! This is so important. It’s easy to trust everything is working out in your favour when everything is good. But what about when it looks like nothing is going right? Can you still trust that there is a bigger plan than what you can see, and that every situation is offering you an opportunity?
Knowing this and anchoring into that faith can be the thing that gets you through to the other side of those sticky situations that show up and continuing on your path towards your desired outcome.
Understanding how it all works is 🗝 in being able to actually work with what life is throwing at you.
Life isn’t happening to us, it is always happening for us. You just need to know how to look at it and ask yourself the right questions in order to mine the gold from every situation.

Times are sticky out there in the world and it is my strong belief that the more of us able to receive and hold wealth and prosperity, the better off ALL of us and the planet is. The more of us who have a social conscience and a spiritually minded worldview that are operating in greater prosperity - the more our entire collective existence becomes attuned to the energy of thriving. And the more we are able to put the power back in the hands of the people, for the benefit of all.
